Coffee
Grown under shade on our estate, picked by hand and sun-dried on our yard.
Kaapi poovu means coffee flower, and we call it KAAPO. From our farms in Wayanad to your morning cup: honest coffee, raw forest honey and hand-picked pepper, sent straight to your door.
It starts with the blossom showers in March, when the kaapi poovu opens and the plantation smells like jasmine. By December the cherries are deep red, and we pick them by hand.
The whole cherries dry on the yard in front of the house. We rake them every day until the beans rattle inside their husks.
We roast in small batches and drop each one at a set temperature. Keep scrolling to roast the bean.
Coffee grows in the shade of silver oaks. Pepper vines climb those same trees, and bees work the forest around them. Coffee comes first; honey and pepper are coming soon.
